The aim of the Future Indirect Fires conference is to provide an opportunity for military, government and industry personnel involved with artillery and artillery programmes to share programme updates, future requirements, new technologies and Lessons Identified relating to artillery systems and contemporary indirect fires. Key discussions will focus on:

  • Artillery modernisation projects
  • New weapon delivery platforms
  • Surveillance and Target Acquisition capabilities
  • Ammunition technologies for cannon artillery, rockets and missiles
  • Artillery C4I equipment and software
  • Delivering Precision Fires capabilities
  • Developing structures and procedures to coordinate Joint Fire Support

The Future Indirect Fires conference will be attended by requirements and acquisition officials from the Land Systems divisions on national procurement bodies, as well as senior Artillery Officers from armies across the world. Also present will be the senior management of the leading industry contractors providing indirect fire capabilities.
